45 minute Class = $30/Month Tap, Hip Hop, Baby Combo, Boys Combo, Leaps & Bounds, Acro 30 minute = $25/Month Senior Solo and Creative Movement
Tuition is the same each month no matter how many classes occur. Each dance season is comprised of 37 classes; running from September through June (no tuition due in June) ending in a recital at the North Star High School Auditorium. (Adults = $5, Children over 3 years & Seniors = $3)
Sibling Discount: Siblings receive a $5 per month discount
RollingDiscount: The more classes you enroll in the cheaper they get! 2 classes = $5 off Monthly Due 3 classes = $15 off Monthly Due 4 classes = $30 off Monthly Due 5 classes = $50 off Monthly Due .... the more you take the better dancer you become!
Class Descriptions: Classes offered are grouped by age, experience and skill. All classes will be featured in the end of the year recital.
Leaps & Bounds – 45 min – Creative movement and dance basics for people with physical, cognitive & behavioral disabilities who would not benefit from a traditional dance class. All Ages. Volunteers needed for this class
Creative Movement – 30 min – Fun activities and dance basics. Ages: potty trained to 5.
Baby Ballet/Tap/Acro Combo – 45 min – Introduction to dance basics using age appropriate instruction. Ages: 4 to 6. Dress code: Leotard, tights & ballet skirt.
Boys HipHop/Tap Combo – 45 min – Introduction to Tap basics as well as rhythm exploration using Tap & Hip Hop moves. Ages 4-8 & 8-12. Tap shoes required.
Tap – 45 min – Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for Ages 6 to 18+. Tap technique, choreography & performance education.
Ballet – 1 hr – Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for Ages 6 to 18+. Ballet technique, choreography & performance education. Dress code: leotard/tights/ballet skirts
Pre-Jazz - 45 min - Beginner class for Ages 5 to 8. Introduction to jazz dance basics. Jazz – 1 hr – Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for Ages 8 to 18+. Jazz technique, choreography & performance education.
Hip Hop – 45 min – Beginner, intermediate & advanced classes for Ages 8 to 18+. Hip Hop technique and performance education through stylized choreography.
Modern – 1 hr – Intermediate/advanced classes for Ages 10 to 18+. Modern technique, choreography & performance education. Also activities designed to increase dancers awareness of body, dynamics and space.
Senior Solo – 30 min. – Learn and master choreographed dance to the song and style of your choice. Seniors will be included in Christmas show and performances if desired. You must be an existing student to enroll.
TDF Performance Group & JR. Performance Group – 1 hr – Learn choreography for Christmas show & the recital finale. After recital students will practice routines during this time for competition and summer/fall performances. This class is invitation only.
